Wil Becker grew up in the town of Battle Mountain and has attended the First Baptist Church since he was in Junior High. He came to faith and was baptized in High School. After graduating, he joined the U.S. Army for four years and served in one tour in Iraq. In 2007, he returned from his military service, and in 2008, he began to serve in multiple ministries within the church. He took on the position of Youth Leader, working with teenagers on Friday nights; as well as learning how to play the guitar and joining the worship team. After a few years, he moved to the position of Youth Sunday School Teacher. After a few more years, he felt lead to focus his energy on the media ministry by upgrading and maintaining the audio/video equipment, along side taking a stronger leadership role in the worship team, filling in as the worship leader when needed. He has also maintained multiple YouTube channels including one where he combines his love of music and videography by making lyrics videos of praise and worship music.
